What Is It?
Cocopeat, also called coco peat, coir pith, or coconut coir dust is a natural fibre material extracted from the outer husk of coconut shells. It is the spongy, pith-like substance left over after the longer coir fibres are removed during coconut processing. Rather than being discarded, this byproduct is compressed, washed, and processed into a highly versatile growing medium and raw material.
